We Work In the Dark to Serve the Light, We Are...
Kicking off our second Assassin’s Creed Valhalla photo recap, is a truly epic looking capture by well known AC YouTuber @ACUnivers.
This picture brilliantly lives up to its title; the Assassins’ famous and iconic motto. The vignette in the picture is perfectly balanced, covering all corners in darkness, leaving just the centre enlightened where we see Eïvor looking out over a blue evening sky and the mountains of the North. This picture has an epic & cinematic element to it, making it one of, if not the best Valhalla capture I the writer, Gargudon, have stumbled upon so far!
Welcome back to another weekly virtual photography showcase, hosted by Gustav Poulsen from The AC Partnership Program.
Each week, five Assassin's Creed shots will be hosted here on TOWCB website in order to promote virtual photography and community contributions.

Gustav is a seasoned pro when it comes to virtual photography, and has a keen eye for special shots.

Look out for more Photo Logs over the coming weeks, some of which will include Assassin's Creed Valhalla!
…THIS ARROW WILL BRING UPON THEE!
Coming in at number two is a simpler, but still awesome and action packed capture by Instagram user @project_mayo.
In it we see Eïvor in the rain equipped with his lethal bow, about to fire a flaming hot arrow towards one of his enemies. Perhaps it’s a minor detail, but the depth of field has been nicely paid attention to, as the background trees are blurred out, and all the focus is on our Viking hero.
Synin by @Spigseth1 on IG / @Spiggy_Smalls on Twitter
This week’s third selection is a beautiful cinematic capture by the talented gaming and real life photographer known as Spigseth1 on Instagram, and Spiggy_Smalls on Twitter.
In this one we see Eïvor on his horse, riding across one of the many grand snow covered fields of the North. But of course most remarkably, we see his trusted Raven companion Synin soaring above, watching and guarding him as he goes about his long journey. Intentional or not, a nice detail about this is that Eïvor is but a foot from leaving the shadows cast by the massive mountains, and heading into the light…
So Many Places, So Many Moods by @Memento_Gallery
Second last picture on this week’s list is a landscape shot by community member and talented photographer Sebastian. (Memento_Gallery)
This shot captures one of the countless beautiful fields of the North, as clouds slowly form above it and fog is covering it up. The dry, low saturated and mainly gray colors of this picture gives it a special, dark Viking-esque (obviously) vibe.
Orange Hues of Blighty
Wrapping up the list for now is a magnificent golden hour capture by Twitter user @Chris25551.
Not too much to say about this one, other than it beautifully captures the sun setting as it slowly disappears from the horizon, while casting its light rays over the clouds, the ocean and the small visible settlement on the English coast. If there’s one thing this and select captures from last week’s list proves, it’s that AC Valhalla’s sunsets are truly and uniquely beautiful.
