Another week, another virtual photography recap!

Aaru:

Making the top of this week’s list, is an Assassin’s Creed Origins capture from the Curse Of The Pharaohs DLC, taken by Instagram user @the.gamer.verse.

This photo beautifully captures Bayek riding his mystical Eternal Maw horse through the afterlife of Queen Nefertiti; also known as the Aaru. The plain beauty of the Aaru is in focus; everything from the bright lights, the wheat fields, the eclipse and more!

Beautiful City of Florence

Coming in at the second spot on this week’s list, is an Assassin’s Creed II screenshot taken by Instagram user @mentor.captures.

In this picture we see Ezio on top of a rooftop above Ponte Vecchio, on the southside of the Arno, looking out over his beautiful hometown of Firenze during an imminent sunset. Centred is the Santa Maria del Fiore, Campanile di Giotto as well as the Palazzo Vecchio.

Behind these landmarks in the distance, we see the beautiful Tuscan highlands that surround the city’s walls.

Welcome back to a new weekly virtual photography initiative hosted by Gustav Poulsen from The AC Partnership Program.

On Paris’ Rooftops

For this week’s third select, we have an Assassin’s Creed Unity screenshot captured by Instagram user @arno.dorian_assassin.

In it we see Arno fashionably dressed in Mentor Auditore’s legendary robes, walking on one of Paris’ many rooftops, looking out over the city; and notably the Notre Dame cathedral as it is beautifully illuminated by the imminent sunset.

One of the best visual aspects of AC Unity has to be the colourful and bright sunsets, and this picture is one of many great examples on how to capture it perfectly.

Free Like a Bird; Leap of Faith

Taking up the second last spot on this week’s recap list, is yet another AC Origins Curse Of The Pharaohs picture, this one taken by Instagram user @ali.virtual.photographer in the beautiful Duat; afterlife of Tutankhamun!

This picture is extremely pretty to say the least, and crams in many of the wonders of the Duat into just one frame. Everything from the big light blue flowers, the small fires, the clear night sky and what presumably is an entire galaxy in it plus much more is in focus! And least of all as the title suggests, it also shows us Bayek performing a leap of faith from a massively tall statue, free falling down, observing all the mentioned wonders of this beautiful yet mysterious location. Also, thanks to the photographer for sending this capture to us directly!

Thanks for checking our this weeks's photo log, and to all of the virtual photographers who contributed torwards this article!

Praised by the Gods

For the final capture on this week’s recap list, believe it or not we have a third capture from AC Origins. Three captures from one game on this week’s list? I guess Egypt is just that photogenic! This one however is taken in the real world Egyptian deserts, and not in some mysterious interdimensional afterlife.

It’s taken by Instagram user @dullishmarlin4, and shows us Bayek with his eagle Senu on his arm in the night, illuminated by the beautiful moonlight behind them. This shot is all about angle and camera placement. With the moon centred right between Bayek and Senu, and that way perfectly casting its light on them, this picture was simply too good to not make this week’s cut.

And finally, thanks to @dullishmarlin4 for sending this to us directly; it’s likely we wouldn’t have found this beautiful picture otherwise!
