Welcome to the new weekly virtual photography roundup hosted by Aaron Young from The AC Partnership Program.

Every week, we will be picking our top 5 favourite Assassin’s Creed shots and showcasing them on The Ones Who Came Before website, in order to promote virtual photography and talented content creators within the community.

Aaron is a keen virtual photographer and loves to post his journeys through Assassin’s Creed on Twitter.
Keep an eye on the site as more weekly shots are added, we are looking for capture across all Assassin’s Creed games. Tag your photos to the #TOWCBWeeklyCapture for a chance to be featured.
And that sums it up for this week’s Assassin’s Creed virtual photography recap list!
Thank you for checking out this week’s photo collection. This would not be possible without the virtual photographers out there so a huge thanks to them. Until next week keep those shots coming in!
5) King Ragnar

Game: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

This week’s first capture comes from Punkncreed over on Twitter.

I really like when gamers try to recreate TV and Movie moments in games. A great use of light on Eivor’s face combined with the dark background shows off how similar to Ragnar he can be.
The attention to detail is great, with the hairstyle and side tattoo. Kudos for adding in the fire on his eyebrow.
2) Hitting the Mark

Game: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

VP number two comes from @mimi_makeslight over on Twitter.

I am always won over by archery photos. Great use of the sun, I like how the rays pass straight by Alexios. The sun also looks like a target in the distance. Funny use of Ikaros in the bottom corner creates a sense of Alexios flying. The gold on the bow really stands out against the blue background.
3) Silhouette

Game: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

This week’s third shot comes from @Chiffrygaming over on Twitter.

This capture is quite unique. When I saw this shot I instantly thought of the old Assassin’s Creed games.
Reducing the depth of field and putting the focus on the character but at the same time removing all detail is genius.
4) The Eagle Bearer

Game: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Photo number two comes from @Gwyn_VP over on Twitter.

The companion bird has become a mainstay in the RPG games and this shot shows off the bond between Kassandra and Ikaros.
I like that the background isn’t busy and therefore showcases the two hero’s. I often see VP of Kassandra in heavy armour so it refreshing to see her in more Assassin style clothing.
1) Going Viking

Game: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The final capture of the week comes from @bythehist over on Twitter.

This imagine reminds me of the original box art for the game, with Eivor and his crew beginning a raid. A real Viking feel to this shot with a realistic longship and Eivor dressed less flamboyantly. I think this image looks like it has come from the art book for the game. The clouds, water and the rock Eivor is standing on all makes this capture exceptional.
