What we want to see from the Assassin's Creed Franchise in 2019

5) More Comic Books.
​The Assassin's Creed franchise has already had a strong wave of comic books that introduced new characters to the series, and took the narrative to previously unexplored time periods and locations.
The comic books have also previously been used to progress the stories of much loved characters, such as Ezio and Edward. (See Assassin's Creed Reflections).
Although the comic books have a bad reputation due to the decision to end Juno's storyline so abruptly, they can still be used to introduce new elements to the series, especially in the Modern Day. For example, The Assassin's Creed Templars series focussed on 'The Black Cross', a previously unheard of member of the Templar Order charged with monitoring the actions of fellow members.
A new comic book series could link together the past and present in ways that are original and interesting for readers. If the writing can hit the same levels of care and quality as Assassin's Creed Heresy, then it could potentially add some interesting new elements to the franchise.
4) Anime Assassin's Creed Netflix series.

Back in January of 2018, Ubisoft announced that the company were in talks with Netflix regarding an Assassin's Creed series. Director Adi Shankar (Known for Netflix’s Castlevania series) went on to reveal that he was working on a project with Ubisoft, and would be creating an original story set as an Anime.
Aymar Azaizia in a Reddit AMA last year said: "We will take our time to make sure we deliver something we can be proud of."
Although there have been no recent updates on the series, it's safe to assume that we'll be learning more about it this year.
2) More content for Assassin's Creed Rebellion.

The Assassin's Creed Rebellion Mobile Game finally released last year, and players soon discovered that they could play as key characters such as Aguilar and Ezio whilst on the go. You can train your little pocket Assassins to become an elite Brotherhood, taking down Templar influence one enemy at a time.
The game recently announced that it would be hosting a special Helix Rift event, where players would be able to unlock Alexios and Kassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
As the game is free to play, it would be great to see more community events like this, giving gamers the chance to play their favourite (and cutest) characters.
1) No new game.

The reveal of Assassin's Creed Odyssey in 2018 left many players feeling overwhelmed, considering that Origins had only been around for several months. Rather than a new game set in Ancient Greece, it's fair to say that many within the Community would rather have had more content for Origins, as they were not yet done with the game. The voices asking for additional DLC content or extra missions for Bayek were silenced by the reveal of a new game, which brought with it a wave of problems for the series, such as lore discrepancies and choice based actions.
To counter the overwhelming feeling of too much Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft announced that it would once again be taking a break from its yearly release cycle in 2019. A year off (or even two) could be exactly what the series needs at this point to regain its identity.
​It will also allow for Ubisoft to focus on post-release content for Odyssey, and maintain a high level of quality for players.
Are you expecting Ubisoft to reveal a new Assassin's Creed Game at E3, or will we get a full year dedicated to Odyssey?
Less can sometimes be more.
3) Assassin's Creed 1 Remastered Announcement

​Altair's story is one that brings back waves of nostalgia for players, and one day gamers will surely once again play as the legendary Assassin. It has been over ten years since its release, but a remastered version of the game would no doubt be welcomed by fans of the franchise.
Picture this: We get to the end of the Ubisoft Press Conference at E3 thinking that Assassin's Creed will not be making an appearance this year, only to see an announcement for a Remastered version of the original game, coming 2020.
